OVERVIEW

CSU2-50B provides a stable voltage and up to 50 amps of fully regulated power to prevent loss of charge and damage to the battery.

CSU2-50B can be used with any 12V automotive battery including AGM, GEL and Lithium (LiFeP04).

In CSU mode, when the battery is charged the CSU is a regulated power supply to sustain accessory loads and offset parasitic drain with battery state detection, ensuring safe prolonged use.

In BSU mode a continuous power source is supplied to the battery until physically removed.

CSU current mode of operation:

  • To select BSU function - Turn the mains on without the battery connected and wait for two beeps within 2 seconds. Then connect the battery.

  • To select SSU function - Connect the battery with mains power off, then turn the mains on.

Output current display.

Reverse polarity protection.

Disconnect detection.

Comes with 16ft (4.8M) lead set and 8’ (2.4M) C15 to 5-15P power cord.

Compatible with LiFeP04 with 12V Lithium - All technologies

This low profile (3.5”) CSU2-50B has been designed specifically for car showrooms and workshops.

Most conventional battery conditioners simply trickle charge the battery after it has been drained. The CSU2-50B provides instant support to the battery negating the need for recharging.

With the CSU2-50B support unit connected to your vehicles you can be sure that they are always ready for demonstration and downloads and that the battery will be kept in prime condition.

This unit has been designed to slip under most vehicles without scratching the floor surface and features automatic current sensing in SSU mode so that it knows when it is needed. It can also be trolley mounted for workshop applications.

The intelligent sensing in the CSU2-50B determines exactly when support is required to minimize unnecessary noise and power consumption.
